👋 hi, i'm edwin zhang!
i like to build experiences that bring everyday delight, while being mindful of the tools and cultural forces that make them possible.
🧘 currently, i'm teaching yoga in sf and taking time to spend more time on making (specifically, pottery, sewing, cooking).
🦉 most recently, i was a staff engineer at samsara from 2017-2023, where i organized r&d-wide programs, led infra/platform teams (ex: performance engineering, developer experience, frontend design systems), and shipped a number of major products.
